    One question: why do the e-books sell for more in PDF format than in the Amazon e-book reader format?

    That's for a couple of reasons. For one, not everyone has a Kindle or iPhone, and therefore can't access the e-books via Amazon. The other reason is that Amazon charges what they want to charge for books/services. Thanks for your interest!
